I enjoyed listening to David Blatt (@dblattok) of the Oklahoma Policy Institute discuss the rise of the #oklaed movement for public education, its history over the last decade, and how it ties into Oklahoma’s structural budget deficit.
I also had good conversations afterwards with several attendees, including discussions about how to fix Oklahoma’s budget problems, public education, and reproductive rights and abortion.
Thank you League of Women Voters of Tulsa (@lwvtulsa) for hosting the luncheon.
