It’s important to remember why we do the things we do.
Once you have children, much of what you do must be about them and their future. What could be more important or worthy than that?
Given that, shouldn’t we listen to our children’s perspectives on important matters like this month’s rally at the Capitol and what it gained for public education? If you have children, why not ask them? If they don’t know much about what happened, why not teach them? And if they ask you to help them get the best possible education, to help their teachers and schools, why not help them?
