Congratulations Mayor Thurmond and residents of Broken Arrow for receiving the 2018 Livability Award from the U.S. Conference of Mayors! I’m so proud of the turnaround our city has orchestrated on Main Street. I wouldn’t have believed the changes from when I grew up here in the 70s and 80s to now were possible if I wasn’t living here and enjoying them through the years!
A revitalized and popular downtown, one of the top four manufacturing cities in Oklahoma, a top rated technology training center, NSU BA, great public schools (Union and BAPS), and now recognized again not only by the Conference of Mayors for livability but also by WalletHub as the best city in the United States for first-time home buyers. Such a wonderful place to be!
I’m so excited by the possibility to represent you in the State Senate this coming session! I would greatly appreciate your vote in the August 28 run-off to help me get there.
