I believe the U.S. Constitution and Oklahoma state constitution say what they mean, and mean what they say.
I believe the Oklahoma state government must find ways to raise enough revenue to meet its constitutional obligations to fund core services (this includes education).
I believe that the longer term path to raising more revenue must be through economic innovation and new industries, not simply a rehash of the past.
I believe people should have the freedom to live their lives as they please, so long as they aren’t infringing on others’ liberties and well being.
I believe that life begins when DNA assembles, but government should tread lightly here.
I believe that everyone has a right to defend themselves and their loved ones.
I believe in conservation of lands, waters and wildlife. Once we pave over any of them, we’ve lost something priceless forever.
And I believe that if we keep to the principles above and work together, we can build a more prosperous Oklahoma for ourselves and our children.
